At Valley Psychology we offer a range of flexible, evidence based psychological interventions supporting young people and adults. These interventions include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Narrative Therapy. Where it is appropriate and beneficial for the client, we may also work alongside animals such as horses or dogs in the therapy setting.

We support our clients through talk and experiential therapies to explore patterns of thinking and behaving as well as how we relate with ourselves and others. Through increased personal awareness we can then identify those patterns that may no longer be helpful and go about learning, or re-learning skills and practices that increase emotional wellness and positive change. Our approach is client-centred and treatment plans are tailored to meet the individual needs of each person.
